The Accomodations
Garbutt’s lodge is located in the small traditional Belizean community of Punta Gorda, Belize. We sit at the point of Joe Taylor Creek just minutes from the center of town. With our location our boats pickup right in front of the lodge. Each guest accommodation features two beds, private baths, hot showers, cable TV, wireless internet, and a deck with uninterrupted views overlooking the open Caribbean Sea. There is plenty of space for your equipment, rigging, cleaning of equipment at the end of each day.
Our guides will assist with the loading and storing of all necessary equipment. Walking from your accommodations to the main lodge and dock takes only a minute as it is only a few feet from your room.
The Cuisine
Private chefs will prepare breakfast before guide pickup and will pack well rounded lunches for the boat. Dinners will be prepared each night. There is nothing better than coming back after a long day of fishing the flats to a home cooked meal with a Belikin. Oh and don’t forget some Marie Sharpes. Please let us know ahead of time if you have any dietary restraints.
